Slash 4x4 takes the already proven Slash short-course race truck, adds rock solid 4WD performance and the Velineon brushless power system to create a powerhouse that'll leave the competition choking on its dust!

Capable of speeds of 40+ mph out of the box and more than 60mph once upgraded with a 3S Li-Po battery, Slash 4x4 ensures breathless action, every time you drive it! What's more, all onboard electronics are waterproofed to offer a travel anywhere through anything capability that few competitors can copy!

Starting with the chassis, this features an internal triangle lattice design for enhanced rigidity and smooth exterior to help it travel over the rough stuff without snagging. An optimised internal layout gives perfect front-to-back and side-to-side balance for rock solid stability, on the ground or in the air.

Front and rear transmissions bolt onto this and are modular for easy access when carrying out maintenance or modification. Revo-spec differentials are housed inside and a Revo-spec Torque-control slipper clutch allows you to dial in the power so there's no wheel-slipping wastage. Long-travel suspension arms are connected to Ultra oil-filled shocks to chew up the bumps and ensure the smoothest ride over the not so smoothest terrain!

The Velineon power system combines the 3500 brushless motor with the VXL-3s electronic speed controller. This compact unit features Traxxas' 'EZ-Set' one-button set-up and three mode settings to allow you to fine-tune the speedo to your skill level.

Radio is the Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz high output, multi-function system with built in Traxxas Link technology. This multi model memory system allows up to 20 Traxxas-Link enabled vehicles to be auto-selected from its built-in memory, simply by switching on!

Slash 4X4 has looks to match its performance and you can choose from five fully licensed race-replica body shells that are supplied pre-painted and decorated from the factory. Scale tyres too are fully licensed versions of the BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A or Kumho Road Venture MT pattern as applicable. Even the tube-style front and rear bumper assemblies are recreated in incredible detail for ultimate scale effect!

Like all Traxxas vehicles, Slash 4X4 is backed up with spares support that is second to none and this includes many option parts to further race-tune and enhance the performance and looks of your ride!

Slash 4X4 is supplied fully assembled and ready-to-race with included Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system, plus a stunning fully licensed, *pre-painted body with factory-applied decals and optional 18T pinion gear.

Traxxas Stability Management
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to experience all the extreme power, speed, and acceleration that was engineered into the 1/16 E-Revo VXL by making it much easier to control on common slippery surfaces such as loose dirt, smooth concrete, and even ice and snow.

Punch it off the line and TSM goes to work sensing the vehicle's direction and making steering corrections to provide straight-ahead full-throttle acceleration without fishtailing, spinouts, and loss of control. TSM also works during cornering, first making intuitive corrections to maintain your line, and then allowing you to hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. Braking is dramatically improved as TSM works to keep you arrow straight until you come to a complete stop.

TSM acts as your on-board co-pilot in the vehicle that "feels" what the vehicle is doing and makes corrections for vehicle movements that you cannot even detect, well before the vehicle gets out of control.

Traxxas TSM gives you all the benefits modern electronic stabilization has to offer without intruding on your driving fun. Traxxas engineers developed superior tuning algorithms that run on high-speed, precision electronic components to create a system that works invisibly, in the background, without ever limiting your throttle. TSM can be fine tuned (or turned off) for different surfaces by simply adjusting the multi-function knob on the TQi transmitter, or by adjusting the slider in the Traxxas link app.

The result is that you are driving faster, with more ease, and having more fun,with that fully connected feeling at the controls that you expect. In fact, you may not even realize how much TSM is helping you until you turn it off and test your driving skills without it!

This model requires an 8.4V NiMH or 2-3 Cell LiPo with Traxxas high current connector and suitable Traxxas ID battery charger.
