The Mil Mi-24P Hind F is a variant of the Mil Mi-24, a formidable attack and transport helicopter developed by the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant in the Soviet Union.

The Mi-24P, known by its NATO reporting name "Hind F," is distinguished by its twin-barrel 30mm GSh-30K autocannon mounted on the right side of the fuselage, replacing the more flexible, yet less powerful, 12.7mm machine gun turret seen in earlier models.

This heavily armed and armored helicopter is designed for a dual role, capable of providing close air support to ground troops and transporting up to eight soldiers into combat zones.

The Mi-24P features reinforced armor plating, advanced avionics, and the ability to carry an array of weaponry, including anti-tank guided missiles, rockets, and gun pods, making it a versatile and powerful asset on the battlefield.
