The Leopard 1A5 is an upgraded version of the German Leopard 1 main battle tank, introduced in the late 1980s.

It features a modernized fire-control system with the EMES 18 sight, giving it far better accuracy and night-fighting capability than earlier variants.

Despite retaining the original 105 mm L7A3 gun, the 1A5 received enhanced ammunition options, keeping it competitive for its era.

Additional armour improvements and internal layout updates increased crew protection and efficiency.

Overall, the Leopard 1A5 represents the most advanced and capable configuration of the entire Leopard 1 family.
