The Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc was a formidable evolution of the legendary British fighter that helped turn the tide during the early years of World War II.

Introduced in 1941, the Mk.IIc featured a strengthened wing structure and was armed with four powerful 20mm Hispano cannons, significantly boosting its firepower compared to earlier variants.

This version was highly versatile, capable of performing in multiple roles including interceptor, ground-attack, and night-fighter missions.

Powered by the robust Rolls-Royce Merlin XX engine, the Mk.IIc could reach speeds of over 340 mph (550 km/h), with improved performance at higher altitudes.

Its rugged construction and excellent handling characteristics made it a favourite among pilots, particularly during the North African campaign and in defense of British territory.

Often overshadowed by the Spitfire, the Hurricane Mk.IIc nonetheless remained a vital backbone of the RAF’s fighting force, proving itself time and again in harsh environments and challenging missions.

A true workhorse of the skies, it combined firepower, reliability, and adaptability in a single potent package.
