The Bell UH-1 Iroquois, better known as the “Huey,” became one of the most iconic helicopters of the Vietnam War.

The UH-1C variant was a dedicated gunship version, developed to provide armed escort and close air support for troop-carrying helicopters.

Built by Bell Helicopter, the UH-1C introduced significant improvements over earlier models, particularly in firepower and handling.
