The Fokker Dr. I was a German triplane fighter aircraft used during World War I.

It was designed by the German aircraft designer Anthony Fokker and was one of the most iconic aircraft of the war.

The Dr. I was powered by a 110 horsepower Oberursel rotary engine, which gave it a maximum speed of approximately 185 km/h.

It was armed with two 7.92mm LMG 08/15 machine guns, which were mounted on the fuselage and synchronized to fire through the spinning propeller blades.

The aircraft was widely used by the German air force, including by several prominent aces such as Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the Red Baron.

It was renowned for its speed, maneuverability, and ability to climb and dive quickly, making it a formidable opponent in the air.

Despite its success, the Dr. I was plagued by several design flaws, including poor visibility from the cockpit and a tendency to stall in steep dives.

Nonetheless, it remains an iconic symbol of early aviation history and is considered one of the most recognizable aircraft of all time.
