The Elco 80' Motor Patrol Torpedo Boat (Early) was a small, fast, and heavily armed naval vessel used by the United States Navy during World War II.

It was designed and built by the Electric Boat Company (Elco) in Bayonne, New Jersey.

The Elco 80' Motor Patrol Torpedo Boat (Early) was 80 feet (24 meters) in length and had a beam (width) of 20 feet (6 meters).

It was powered by three Packard 12-cylinder gasoline engines, which gave it a top speed of approximately 41 knots (47 miles per hour).

It was armed with four 21-inch torpedo tubes, two twin .50 caliber machine guns, and one 20mm Oerlikon cannon.

The boat was crewed by a complement of 12 sailors and was primarily used for coastal patrol and anti-submarine warfare operations.

It was highly maneuverable and could operate in shallow waters, making it ideal for missions in the Pacific Theater.

Overall, the Elco 80' Motor Patrol Torpedo Boat (Early) was a highly successful and influential naval vessel that played a significant role in the outcome of World War II.
