The Jeanne d'Arc was a French Navy helicopter cruiser commissioned in 1964, serving as both a training ship and a flagship for amphibious operations.

Designed with a flight deck and hangar to support up to four helicopters, she combined aviation capability with traditional naval armament, including anti-aircraft guns and anti-submarine weaponry.

Jeanne d'Arc played a key role in projecting French naval power and training generations of naval officers.

She served until 2010, becoming an iconic symbol of France’s postwar maritime presence and innovation in helicopter carrier design.
