The Russian destroyer Tashkent was a warship that served in the Soviet Navy during World War II.

It was launched in 1939 and entered active service in 1940.

Tashkent was a large and powerful destroyer, measuring over 112 meters in length and weighing over 3,500 tons.

It was armed with a range of weapons, including dual-purpose guns, torpedo tubes, and depth charges.

The ship was also equipped with powerful engines that allowed it to reach speeds of up to 43 knots, making it one of the fastest destroyers of its time.

During World War II, Tashkent was involved in a number of operations, including escorting convoys and engaging in naval battles.

The ship also served as a flagship for Soviet naval forces in the Black Sea.

Despite its impressive performance, Tashkent suffered significant damage during the war and was eventually decommissioned in 1949.

The ship was subsequently scrapped, although its legacy as a fast and powerful destroyer lives on.
