The DAC Mk. II (Daimler Armoured Car Mark II) was a British reconnaissance vehicle developed during World War II, known for its agility and reliability in various combat roles.
An evolution of the Mk. I, the Mk. II featured enhancements that improved its performance and battlefield utility.
Key Features:
Design: Compact and robust wheeled armoured car with a turret-mounted main armament.
Armament:Main Gun: 2-pounder (40 mm) anti-tank gun, capable of engaging both armoured and soft targets.
Secondary Weapon: Coaxial 7.92 mm BESA machine gun for infantry support and anti-personnel use.
Engine: Daimler 6-cylinder petrol engine, producing 95 hp, which allowed for a top speed of 50 mph (80 km/h).
