The German 3-ton Fuel Truck 3,6-36S PmQ-Type was a vital component of the Wehrmacht’s logistical backbone during World War II.
Designed to transport fuel to frontline units, this dependable vehicle ensured that tanks, trucks, and aircraft remained operational across vast and often rugged battlefronts.
Based on the reliable Opel Blitz 3.6-36S chassis, the PmQ-Type featured a specialized fuel tank body, reinforced suspension, and a 6-cylinder petrol engine capable of handling heavy loads.
Its compact size, solid off-road performance, and ease of maintenance made it a preferred choice for fuel distribution under combat conditions.
Painted in typical field grey or later-war camouflage schemes, the 3t Fuel Truck could be seen operating from North Africa to the Eastern Front, often under fire as it braved dangerous supply routes to keep the war effort moving. Its presence was critical for maintaining the mobility of mechanized units and air operations alike.
