The 101st Airborne Division – Normandy ’44 represents one of the most iconic and courageous fighting forces of World War II.

Their mission was critical: secure key roads, bridges, and towns to prevent German reinforcements from reaching the beaches.

Facing fierce resistance, scattered landings, and challenging terrain, the 101st nonetheless fought with tenacity and discipline, engaging in brutal combat in places like Carentan, Brecourt Manor, and along the causeways near Utah Beach.

Their actions were pivotal in establishing a foothold in Nazi-occupied France.
