The Tiger I Initial Production Tank was one of the most formidable heavy tanks fielded by the German Army during the early stages of World War II.

Introduced in 1942, the Tiger I combined exceptional firepower with thick armour protection, making it a feared opponent on the battlefield.

Armed with the powerful 88 mm KwK 36 gun, it was capable of destroying enemy tanks at long range while its heavy armour provided strong defensive capability against Allied weapons.

Early production Tiger I tanks featured distinctive design elements such as the drum-style commander’s cupola, Feifel air filtration system, and large road wheels that helped distribute the vehicle’s considerable weight.

Although complex and expensive to produce, the Tiger quickly gained a reputation for battlefield dominance and became one of the most iconic armoured vehicles of the Second World War.
