Takom 1/35 Sherman Big Box Limited Edition (2 Tanks + Jeep & Figure) # 02207W
M4A1(76)W VVSS Late Production
The M4A1(76)W Sherman VVSS Late Production represents one of the most capable versions of the famous American Sherman medium tank used during the later stages of World War II.
Introduced to improve the Sherman’s combat effectiveness against heavier German armour, this variant was equipped with the more powerful 76 mm M1 main gun, providing improved armour-piercing performance and longer engagement range.
The “W” wet ammunition storage system greatly increased crew survivability by reducing the risk of ammunition fires, a common issue with earlier Shermans.
This version retained the reliable Vertical Volute Spring Suspension (VVSS) system and featured the distinctive cast hull design of the M4A1.
Widely deployed by Allied forces during the campaigns in Western Europe from 1944 onward, the M4A1(76)W became a key component of Allied armoured divisions.
M51 “Degem Alef”
The M51 “Degem Alef” was one of Israel’s most famous upgraded Sherman tanks, developed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the late 1950s to keep the ageing Sherman platform combat-effective against more modern Soviet-supplied armour in the region.
This variant was fitted with a powerful 105 mm CN-105-F1 gun, dramatically increasing its anti-tank capabilities.
The tank also featured a modified turret with a large counterweight, upgraded suspension components, and numerous external stowage modifications typical of IDF vehicles operating in harsh desert conditions.
Known as the “Super Sherman,” the M51 saw extensive service during conflicts including the Six-Day War and the Yom Kippur War, proving that the adaptable Sherman design could remain effective decades after its original introduction.
U.S. Army ¼ Ton Utility Truck
The U.S. Army ¼ Ton Utility Truck, widely known as the legendary Jeep, became one of the most recognisable and versatile military vehicles of World War II. Designed to be lightweight, rugged, and highly mobile, it served in virtually every theatre of the war.
Powered by a reliable four-cylinder engine and featuring four-wheel drive, the Jeep was capable of traversing rough terrain while carrying troops, equipment, or towing light artillery.
It was used for a wide range of roles including reconnaissance, command transport, communications, and general utility duties. Its simple yet effective design made it indispensable to Allied forces and it quickly became a symbol of American military mobility and engineering.
