The Praga E-241 was a Czechoslovakian military trainer aircraft developed in the late 1930s by Praga.

It was designed as a basic and intermediate training platform for the Czechoslovak Air Force, intended to prepare new pilots for more advanced aircraft.

The E-241 was a single-engine biplane with a conventional layout, featuring fixed landing gear and an open cockpit.

Its design emphasised simplicity, reliability, and ease of handling—key qualities for a training aircraft.

Powered by a radial engine, it provided stable and predictable flight characteristics, making it well suited for pilot instruction.

Following the occupation of Czechoslovakia, aircraft such as the Praga E-241 were taken over and used by German forces, primarily in training roles.

Despite its relatively modest performance, it remained useful due to its straightforward construction and low operating requirements.

The Praga E-241 reflects the continued use of traditional biplane trainers during a period when more modern monoplanes were becoming standard, highlighting the importance of dependable training aircraft in building and maintaining effective air forces.
