The Ural 375D was a rugged and highly capable 6×6 military utility truck developed for service with the Soviet Army during the Cold War.
Designed to operate in some of the harshest environments, it became one of the most widely used general-purpose vehicles in Soviet service.
Powered by a robust petrol engine and built with a durable chassis, the Ural 375D offered excellent off-road performance, making it well suited for operations across mud, snow, and rough terrain.
Its reliability and simplicity ensured it could be maintained and repaired easily in field conditions.
The vehicle was extremely versatile, serving in a wide variety of roles including troop transport, cargo hauling, and artillery towing.
It could also be adapted as a platform for specialist equipment, including communications systems and rocket launchers, further enhancing its utility on the battlefield.
Typically fitted with a canvas-covered rear cargo area, the Ural 375D could transport personnel and supplies while offering some protection from the elements.
Its high ground clearance and strong suspension made it particularly effective in difficult operational environments.
The Ural 375D stands as a classic example of Soviet military logistics design, combining durability, mobility, and versatility in a vehicle that remained in widespread use for decades.
