The Bedford MWC Water Bowser was a late-production variant of the reliable Bedford MW series, designed to supply fresh water to frontline units during the Second World War.
Built on the sturdy 15-cwt MW chassis, the MWC carried a cylindrical water tank and pumping equipment, allowing it to deliver essential water supplies in both field and base operations.
Late-production models featured refinements in bodywork, improved fittings, and simplified components to speed up wartime manufacturing.
Widely used by the British Army and Commonwealth forces across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, the Bedford MWC became a dependable support vehicle known for its durability and ease of maintenance.
