The Autocannone 3Ro was a powerful Italian mobile artillery system of the Second World War, built on the heavy-duty Fiat 3Ro truck chassis.
Mounting a 90 mm anti-aircraft/anti-tank gun on the flatbed, it offered long-range firepower combined with excellent mobility across desert terrain — making it especially valuable during the North African campaign.
The gun could engage enemy armour, aircraft, and fortified positions, giving Italian forces a versatile and hard-hitting weapon.
Supporting the gun truck was the 3Ro Ammo Carrier, configured to transport additional shells, equipment, and crew.
This accompanying vehicle was essential for sustained operations, ensuring the Autocannone had a steady supply of ammunition in fast-moving combat.
Together, the Autocannone 3Ro and its Ammo Carrier formed an effective mobile artillery team, demonstrating the adaptability of Italian wartime engineering.
